IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR FAMILIES
Due to the current citywide power outage affecting Salinas Elementary and Hidalgo Elementary, both campuses will have an early dismissal today at 2:30 PM.
School buses will begin running earlier than their regular scheduled times to transport students home following dismissal.
We ask families to please make the necessary arrangements and continue monitoring district and campus communications for additional updates.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to prioritize the safety and well-being of our students.

Attention Hidalgo ISD Community:
Due to inclement weather, Summer Programs & Summer School are CANCELLED on Tuesday, June 16, 2026.
In addition, there will be a delayed start for all staff. The adjusted start time is 10:00 AM!
Please stay safe and adjust accordingly! Hidalgo ISD continues to monitor the weather as it progresses.
